Luisa Clare is an Australian label comprised of sisters Luisa Clare and Carla Sanzone. The label has built a reputation both within Australia and overseas by offering quality unique handcrafted garments and leather handbags that are glamorous, feminine and striking works of art. Their original inspiration for the Luisa Clare concept was in 2001 when the sisters discovered some fabric and leather swatches at an industrial centre in Sydney. The textiles inspired them to create the first line of Luisa Clare handbags and a year later Luisa and Carla were selected to launch their accessories label at the prestigious Australian Fashion Week. Inspiration for each collection is driven by their overall philosophy to provide the best quality designs that meet their customer’s needs.  With each collection, Luisa and Carla offer distinction in their designs and techniques whether through the beautiful embellishments lovingly hand-crafted on each bag, the soft natural leathers, or their special designs printed on superior quality materials. This led to the Australian fashion industry awarding the Luisa Clare label Best Accessory in 2006.   In 2006, Luisa Clare opened its first concept store at Sydney’s fashionable hub, 23 William Streetin Paddington. In July 2007, the first Luisa Clare European Showroom opened in Berlin. In 2008 the Luisa Clare label launched its first clothing line throughout Australia. Each garment design is individually crafted by hand from the dye to the beading and appliqué, so not only is the design unmistakably Luisa Clare, but also the fabrics. Today, the Luisa Clare label has expanded into retail stores in Australia, New Zealand, Asia and Europe with new collections showing twice a year. Each Stockist is chosen for their love of design and detail, ensuring that the Luisa Clare pieces are found in some of the most interesting stores around the world.
